Adding electrical system to cargo trailer

The full RV panel I agree is overkill, and most places we will be wouldn't have a 30a hookup anyway.

So, scrapping the panel. I was trying to err on the side of caution but I guess that could more easily overload the circuit I plug into.

Adding electrical system to cargo trailer

The battery was already mounted on the inside. I would have probably preferred outside but it's already mounted, and vented out the front wall.

Adding electrical system to cargo trailer

Thank you! How big is your trailer, and what do you use it for? (if you don't mind posting) I'm not trying to rig it up for any real work to take place inside, it's more to function as a mobile store. Phone chargers, a computer, and maybe a fan to move some air through is about the extent...

Adding electrical system to cargo trailer

Greetings, I'm trying to figure out the right way to do this. I have a brand new cargo trailer that I'm outfitting for my wife's business, in which we will be using it as a mobile store. The trailer has a deep cycle battery already installed to power the jack, a canopy, and a few LED light...

Dumbest thing you've ever done in your garage...

I didn't use a push stick on my table saw because it was sitting across the barn. I cut the tips of my index, middle, and ring finger on my left hand. It's been a year and three months and you can barely tell anything had happened to them. I don't have any weird feeling in them anymore. I...

What kind of line to bury? landline/internet/cable

I had an empty 2 1/2" conduit buried for six years. I finally found a purpose for it, running a cat 5 cable for an internet router and a compressed air line for my wife to use in the basement without the noise and hassle of a different compressor. I left the pull cord in there just in case I...

Who still uses corded tools, and what’s in your collection?

I wish I had a corded recip saw. My wife bought me a cordless and I thought about returning it for a corded one at the time but I didn't want to make her feel bad. It's gone unused so long I'm not sure the batteries would even work.

    Woodworking 101--Tools and Tips

It's not the time it takes to swap the blade, its whether the underlayment will wear the blade out faster or not enough to make a difference.

    Woodworking 101--Tools and Tips

I didn't think this warranted it's own thread, but I have a question about saw blades. I bought a Freud thin kerf ripping blade for my new SawStop table saw. I bought it primarily for ripping 1x4 pine boards. I also need to cut out pieces of 5mm underlayment . Should I switch the blade for...

Want to run water and liquid propane to barn

I've seen it that way with a disconnect switch just under the main panel before going into the ground.

    My 30x48 *lots of pictures*

I'm trying to get things moved back in there now and I'm looking at building some shelves. In the future I might want to insulate it, and I'm wondering if I should put some foam board in between the girts before putting a shelf up. I would really like to spray foam the whole thing but 1. I...
