With the side walls and roof on, it was time to move the back wall to the new back wall. Everything went off with out a hitch. The space is awesome...but the shop is still not 'big enough' :thumbup:

After doing the add on and comparing my work to theirs, there are things I'd recommend watching out for. PM if you want details.
With the posts up, it was time to 'cap' them with some plate in order to create more weldable surface area for the trusses.
Once that was done, we set the trusses and started putting up purlins for the roof.
Oh and then a week long break for some fun at the lake!
Once the slab was poured, it was time to start building. I first started with building 3 trusses. We measured up the existing trusses and drew up a plan and went to town.
From April to June it did nothing but rain in Texas and my footings flooded a good 5 times. By the time we pour concrete, the footings were a good bit wider and deeper then originally planned.

Once the pad was complete, we added a couple truck loads of road base to finish of the lean to side and widen the approach aka less grass to mow :thumbup:
