At the end of September, all the frame work and welding was complete :bowdown: It was time to start hanging insulation and screwing down some r panel

With the posts up, it was time to 'cap' them with some plate in order to create more weldable surface area for the trusses. Once that was done, we set the trusses and started putting up purlins for the roof. Oh and then a week long break for some fun at the lake!

Once the trusses were finished, it was time to start welding posts to the foundation and building the frame work.

Once the slab was poured, it was time to start building. I first started with building 3 trusses. We measured up the existing trusses and drew up a plan and went to town.

Both slabs are between 4 and 5 inches thick.

From April to June it did nothing but rain in Texas and my footings flooded a good 5 times. By the time we pour concrete, the footings were a good bit wider and deeper then originally planned. I wasn't thrilled we were pouring in June but it what it is at this point. The day was 90 degrees with...

Re: Texas 24x30x12 Shop Build In February of 2019, poured the concrete collars around the poles in prep for dirt work. I also ripped out the nice rail road ties and road base walk ways I build a few years prior.

Re: Texas 24x30x12 Shop Build Once the poles were set, it was time to start lifting and setting the receiver channel and then the purlins. I found the best method to building the cover was to get frame work screwed together and then come back and weld everything and then install the R Panels.
