Sooner or later you'll be drafted for this repair...

I have rebuilt three of these and as billymade said earlier the bearings and the plastic gears are the most prone to break. The gear is sacrificial and were sourced for $12 shipped. Cheap enough that I bought extra in case the wife's mixer dies I can get it fixed quickly and be the hero :)...

    Read the rules before posting*****

The other problem with a certain post count to sell is that you tend to get a huge number of 'me too' in the topics just to get their post count up so they can sell. Clogs the board up and contributes almost nothing to the conversation. Personally witnessed this happen on two other boards...

    56" ToolBox Giveaway from StrictlyToolBoxes.com

In keeping with an Aztec theme, you could always name it Quetzalcoatl. Not because it is a great name for a toolbox but just for the humor when people call and try to pronounce it. - Also I have absolutely no idea how to pronounce it :)

    Discovered PicknPull sells tools

I forgot about the saw as being part of the deal since I had already stowed it away to get it off the floor. I counted up the objects and it matched the cash I spent so I thought I was right. The saw looks ummm well-handled so I can't even tell what model it is since all the stickers are gone...

    Discovered PicknPull sells tools

Thanks for the 'you ****' :) Nice to finally get a decent deal. I was rather surprised that stuff was left in a vehicle but maybe it was an insurance payoff for contents and not worth the owner's trouble to try and pick up. They also have tons of books, roadside hf toolsets, funnels, auto...

    Discovered PicknPull sells tools

Was out at PicknPull yesterday to grab some parts for my 3800SC Fiero I'm working on and while going through the checkout I saw they had a flimsy tool cart piled with sockets and such. Sockets were $1 each (all low grade junk) and everything else was $2 each. They were loading stuff into the...

Well they made me a Craftmaster so obviously they are going downhill :) I have hung out there this long so I must love it. Let me know when you are doing the install and I'll be glad to help out since I plan on putting one in the next house. Wouldn't hurt to have an idea of what I'm doing...

Latest addition to a small garage

Thanks Smokey for the welcome home. I'm 2 years from retirement if I leave at 20 and I'm very ready to pack up and head back down your way to Hartsville, SC. I miss the small city life I grew up in. Even the Hampton Roads area is too metropolis for me :)

Latest addition to a small garage

It is a 3-phase machine. I bought a static convertor with it after talking with the people at Enco. Got it in and installed it and the motor would start about 1/3 of the time in forward and never start in reverse. Called them up and despite a no-return policy on them had no trouble getting a...

Latest addition to a small garage

Awesome info there jmack. Thanks for all the help on that. I'll have to check into CAD software out there and see what it will do. Based on the manual you are right though. It is very primitive. The way to send the program back in forth is from the DOS command line with a 'COPY filename...
