    Thoughts on angle grinders?

for anykind of production or heavy use get corded where possible, cordless is great for the odd job but not repeating work. Metabo and Fein would be the 2 that gave the best results in our shop. This would be the above entry level made in germany versions though. The entry level for all theese...

    Hazet or Stahlwille Wrenches?

Another shout for the Toptul, wonderful spanners to use and the water satin finish is a sweet spot between chome gloss and satin. Between the Germans I have a few off wrenches of each type and Stahlwille feels best to me and can usually be got for a better price than Hazet.

I used to dread the dreaded boundary wire break for my Husqvarna Automower, so when there was a break last week in an unknown point in 1500ft of underground cable I had to source a solution. Got this on Amazon and had located break in less than 2 minutes, highly recommended. This would work for...

1000 Eur Budget tool set in Europe

If you are in Italy i'd definitely look at Beta, pricing should be competitive in their home market and they have some great trolley options. https://www.beta-tools.com/en/products/containers-and-assortments/trolleys.html

    Favorite sanding/grinding discs for fiberglass

for removing gelcoat use a resin fibre discs in Silicon carbide material, i.e. the black coloured discs. As someone mentioned VSM are a good bet but use the SF08 series for best results on removing gelcoats; https://us.vsmabrasives.com/fileadmin/ftp-upload/product_datasheets/VSM_SF08_EN.pdf

    Tools from the old world

Athlet are mainly an OEM made in Germany forging company, while they do sell under their own brand, they dont push it so much. They were recently taken over by Rotar Group in Holland but there is no change in their setup (so far). I suspect they do a lot of the screwdriver as well as driver and...
