    Retrofit cabinet drawer slides?

My house was built in the mid 80s and has custom cabinets that I guess were fairly nice at the time they were built, but lack some functionality presently. I don't know what to call the system of rollers and the undermount guide/roller but it's pretty terrible. Is it possible to retrofit...

What kind of welders does everyone have?

I've got a Miller Millermatic 141 110v MIG machine. I scored it brand new for $400 off craigslist (came with about $80 worth of wire too). Great machine for someone clueless about welding (like me). The auto-set features take a lot of the guess work out of simple jobs if you are new to...

Lotus Tig 200 or Eastwood Tig 200

I've got a Primeweld on it's way to me. To me the extra 25 amps, CK torch, and pre-flow adjustment (I believe there are a few other adjustments related to ac stuff it has as well) made it a better value than the AHP. I think the AHP is still an EXCELLENT machine for the money. I also strongly...

Lotus Tig 200 or Eastwood Tig 200

I was dead set on an AHP AlphaTig 201xd after doing several months of research. UNTIL I found this little gem: https://www.amazon.com/PRIMEWELD-TIG225X-Stick-Welder-Warranty/dp/B07BXHRBQ8?ref_=bl_dp_s_web_8940167011 Video review Watch the video and see for yourself. About $55 more including...

    Miller Trailblazer 302

I bought a MM141 brand new in the box for $400. Guy had no qualms about exposing his identity or anything else that would lead me to believe it was stolen. He said he never used it and just got tired of looking at it and wanted it gone. Sounded too good to be true. Only think different from...

    Small Engine Carb Question

So looking back I definitely ordered (and received) a carb for an HMS80 instead of the HM80. Whoops. I ordered another $12 one and hopefully they will let me return this one. Thanks for the help as always!

    Small Engine Carb Question

This one I think was a "HOOAI" I found on Amazon for $12.99. OEM carb I think was around $65. I also recently used a Hipa brand carb on a Husqvarna string trimmer and that was an exact replica for $18 or so.

    Small Engine Carb Question

Now that I think about it the kit came with a primer bulb. I didn't give it much thought and just wrote it off as a generic part. I'd that's the primer port, do I need to somehow plug it or should I just leave it as is?

    Small Engine Carb Question

My apologies if there was a better section to post this to. I just replaced the carb on an older Mighty Mac walk behind leaf vaccum / chipper. Typical story, old nasty gas etc. Engine in question is a Tecumseh Formula 8.0 horizontal shaft. I ordered the china special carb from Amazon. Not...

    Pre-built "Amish" Sheds

Holy **** unlevel is right! Village Shed is in my final two choices of shed builders. The other one I am deciding between is Good's Garden Sheds out of the Lynchburg area. I'll have to pay a little bit more to get it delivered from them but they are cheaper on a bunch of options I want so it...

Adding a sub panel in the garage

That panel does look like a great deal. One last question for now. My current panels are set into an interior finished wall. I can fish wires into blank spaces in the bottom of the panel, but once I pull them back in there is no way to get a wire clamp / romex connector (please excuse my lack...

Adding a sub panel in the garage

I'll have to double check when I get home tonight but I believe the main panel is Crouse-Hinds.

Adding a sub panel in the garage

Howdy! So just looking online it appears the aluminum wire is almost half the cost of 6/3 copper. Is there any reason to go with one over the other aside from cost? I don't know if it will make any appreciable difference but I think the most difficult part of this project is going to be...

Adding a sub panel in the garage

Some background: I have an attached 2 car garage & house that were built in 1986. There is a single circuit with outlets in the garage currently that is 15amps/14 gauge wire. Electrical service enters the house at the opposite end of the house from the garage and I have a pair of panels in...
