As already stated, why not stick with Canadian tire? Mastercraft would be equal or better quality and you get a life time warranty with Mastercraft hand tools
There is little logic in that statement, if you said the tool in question was a jackhammer, everyone here could positively know it is not, even if they don't actually know what it is.

I think its not so much the max torque, but the sudden jolt that will shatter normal sockets and bits, which are quite hard compared to the softer steel used in impact rated parts.
I buy what ever tool is the best bang for the buck for the job at hand. only thing I wont buy on purpose are made in china tools that don't come with a life-time warranty.
