    a properly functioning aav should not let any air out. and since it is after the p trap and removable i would think it would double as a clean out. We use aav all the time in basement remodels for everything from sinks to toilets, if they didn't work they wouldn't be legal right.

    caster on workbench

    I have everything on casters and wouldn't change it. my welding table weights over 600lbs. it doesn't wobble or move unless you put some real grunt behind it. i have never actually locked the caster on it. I have a very small garage 25 x 15 and need to be able to move stuff out of the way.
