I was lucky enough to get the die grinder. I also got the deep cut bandsaw for $197 by doing the hack with an impact driver. I haven't seen the deep cut that cheap before. I just looked and that deal is still available.

I have 3 of the 44" boxes that I bought within 2 months of each other. One of them is a different height than the other two. So even going to HF and just measuring them may not work if you are trying to get down to the 1/16th--unless you measure and then buy the floor model.

My ITT membership actually ended last week just before I got that coupon. Maybe that was their way of trying to convince me to renew?

Unless you order something that isn't in stock, they don't call you ever. So what I've done in the past (until I ordered a toolbox) was take my cell phone number and add one digit to the last number. I actually do that for all stores/websites/whatever. Makes it easy to remember for receipt...

Apparently the price increase is a website issue, and not a real price increase.

Does anyone know what happened to the prices of the US General toolboxes? The 44" went from $499 to $699. The 72" is now $1999. Is this a temporary thing? Or is this their way of pushing people to the Icon brand...
