Oh, one other thing I wouldve done. On the side of the shop that has the patio. I wouldve just carried that concrete as well as the patio roof all the way to the end of the shop.
Well Its been over a Year now. Here is an update video of the completed shop. Fully functional. In this link I give I nice inside view of the shop and discuss a couple of things that I would do differently. Enjoy.
Ok. So I did make a decision and here is the video of the install with me talking. I went with a kinda no name 2 post. It's a DMS 11000A and it was 3500 installed. Thanks for all the interest and insight.
Ok. Well. Then we disagree. It's not a crisis. I think your wrong and you think I'm wrong. Some people drive over the speed limit. Some people drive with there flashers on and go really slow. Nobody has robbed anyone of there birthday . People can make up there own mind. Changes nothing. All the...
I think that my point was misunderstood. Or maybe I didnt choose my words correctly. Regardless i think what your getting around to arguing for is indeed the point i intended to make. That is that there is a distinct seperation between the caliber of lifts below and above a certain price point...
So I cant really answer that question. I dont know. I kinda get the feeling that there are a few warehouses they either own or are linked up to across the country. If i had to guess i would say they are being fed lifts from warehouses that feed lifts to more than one company. Probably all from...
Here is a video of my lift that was just installed and some light discussion of My journey. My original idea without a second thought was a 4 post lift. After digging into the lift landfill on google I started thinking harder. I concluded that a 2 post better suited for my shop and my needs...
Dago and I have one thing in common. Thats a concrete allergy. The whole reason i built the shop was because i am done creeping and crawling around on the concrete working on ****. If you click on the link in my signature thats to my you tube channel. I was chronicling the shop build and I...
Yea My buddy chris asked me why a 4 post lift. I think he thinks I should get a 2 post lift as well. I have to admit, I am reconsidering the 4 post. They take up less room and and I dont have to think about open front or closed front concept. How is a 2 post installed. There is no special steel...
So Im looking for opinions to mull over on a 4 Post lift.
Open front or closed front is the dilemma here. I have found a 4 Post lift that is more than adequate at a price I like. However its a closed front. The open front lift I would go to will cost me 2500 dollars more. Is it worth it. Will...
Here is a recent video that I just uploaded today. It chronicles the last two days of progress on the shop for those who enjoy looking at such things. Like myself. Lol. I am working on a video where I talk about the details that matter. What to watch out for etc.... it will be forth coming...
Just a small areial video clip of the slab. No commentary. Just for anyone who is interested in seeing what it looks like and where things are at currently.
