Adapter vs. universal vacuum coolant filler's.

Ok, so they are just making a special one for the truck brands that doesn't require switching hoses to fill. I looked on their website and none of the 3 types they offer look remotely similar to the truck brand offerings.

Adapter vs. universal vacuum coolant filler's.

Between work and home projects, I think I'm ready to look at purchasing a vacuum coolant filler. I think I am set on the Matco coolant filler (snap on and mac are the same, just more expensive) MCR102U or MCR102A. Of those of you who have or have had these type of coolant fillers, which is...

    Towing straps and lifting chain?

It could be a HF one, the picture is not mine, found it on the internet... Haha, I didn't look to closely at the straps in the picture. When I read that post, I assumed he meant to attach two straps. I probably read it wrong! Sorry oldwizard! Yes, shackles are fine for attaching to the...

    Towing straps and lifting chain?

To each his own, but I highly recommend NOT using shackles or metal hooks to connect tow straps. I am have seen many jeeps have their front or back glass shattered by flying metal connections when tow straps snap. The harbor freight ones are very prone to braking... The load rating on them is...

Help me identify this drill press!

I believe you are correct on the variable speed. I opened the box up and it was a mess (figuratively speaking. it was actually organized) of wires and circuit boards. Also, when you turn the knob, the speed of the drill changes. Not very smoothly though, it pulses then stables out. Is this a...

Help me identify this drill press!

Hahaha, the pictures were taken with my crappy phone camera. I never take pictures, so its hard to justify a camera. Sorry about the bad quality! I see, well its a pretty heavy duty general electric motor, so hopefully its good. I am having a hell of a time trying to find parts for this thing...

Help me identify this drill press!

So, I got this drill press free from work. It could use a little work, but it does work!
