This will Make you feel Inferiour

Well, not that those guys would do so, nor that my garage comes anywhere close to theirs, but it is possible to do work in a fairly nice place without destroying it, or what’s in it. I have painted two cars in this garage: painting link: http://www.customfurniture.net/speedster/page2.html

    Paint Booth........will it work?

Last year I painted this Speedster body under a hoist that I had covered with plastic, sealed the bottom and seams, and hooked up to a dust collector. It worked perfectly, nothing escaped. The only drawback was size, but it worked for this Model T.

    Gas & oil Garages

First off an explanation for why I haven't responded earlier. I didn't want to abuse the privilege of this thread by appearing to keep it at the top of the list. That being said, I want to thank all the responders for their kind words, as well as all of you who have visited the site (well over...

    Gas & oil Garages

Well I've read the rules, and understand I get one (1) shot at promoting something, so here it is! I've started a new website devoted to garages. not a forum, but just displays of garages with an emphasis on petroliana and how those collections are displayed. If you are interested in being...

Let's see you, your tools, toys and garages in action

Been awhile since I was last here. Anyway here is a shot of my using the underside of my hoist for a spray booth. The second photo shows what I'm painting. and the third is the finished car. As an extra, the fourth is without the spray booth. BTW, nothing escaped that booth, no overspray...

    Two New Garage Items

Great finds, love the air meter. I picked up a lubester in Anaconda Mt last summer (hauled it home to Eugene Or in the trunk of my wifes BMW:shocking: ). Got it for $60.00. I converted it to a display case by cutting out the front and back with a saber saw (see below). Rod My hole...

Neon (not Dodge) in The Hot Rod Grille

Jim, After I got the 1st one, I figured (including shipping and Ins) they were worth at least $100.00; So subtracting off the shipping and insurance ($62.28 total) I had 37.72 to bid with. I've yet to lose one using this formula. Of course now everyone will bid a penny higher.:( Rod

Neon (not Dodge) in The Hot Rod Grille

Jim, I just came across this thread. Great Neon's! A couple of months ago I spotted what looked like too good a deal to believe on E-bay (~21"x22" Neon's going for $1.00 + shipping (~$60.00). I decided to take a chance and bid on one, I got it for the $1.00. Took about a week to get here...

I'm new here. Check out my garage (dial up beware)

Great garage, you will really appreciate the gloss white walls. I did mine about six months ago and have found that the number of cobwebs has been reduced to practically none. I don't think the spiders can crawl on it. Rod My "playpen" http://ubercharger.com/museum/
