What kind of tools have you found in the road??

I found a complete set of GearWrench SAE ratcheting box ends. Also, about thirty five years ago, I came across a Miller Bobcat welder. I wasnt driving a truck and had no way to get it in my truck. Someone came and picked it up about thirty seconds after I saw it. Unrelated, but I got a ticket...

    Power washing a driveway

Same. With me, I decide if it is worth paying someone, and if I do, its because I could make more in the time it takes me.

    Pressure washer no pressure

That pump was made to appear heavy duty. They are notorious for sudden failures, and short service life. The usual cheapest repair is just replacing the pump.

Anyone make their own hydraulic hoses?

I have an old Dayco crimper. I bought it fairly cheap, and use it to repair pressure wash hoses and to make hydraulic hoses for my jeep. I honestly don’t know what brand of ends I use. I go to the supplier, tell them what i need, and they hand it to me.

Proposed Car Condo community in central New York

For me, I think the 20x50 is an odd size. I would be happier with a 25 x40, just for the ability to maneuver in the garage. I do think putting limitations on what kind of work can be performed on personal cars is problematic. I get the body work stipulation, because bondo dust gets...

    Pressure washer plumbing

That is actually a decent washer. For every hundred feet of hose you will lose about 25psi through hose friction loss. You would robably be best off just getting a reel and putting a hose on it. I think any piping would be prohibitively expensive.

Dawn or Palmolive; dish soap for non dish purposes?

So, here are the ingredients of Palmolive and Dawn. Dawn appears to have three different alcohols that have a degreasing property. Dawn also contains NaOH and NaCl that they say is a ph neutralizer, but also has some very strong degreaser qualities. In my very limited chemical experience but...

Son! Cox Reels are a name, and not much else. I avoid them like the plague because of how quickly they fail. We use Hannay or Titan on our trucks. I have 8 powerwash rigs.

    DISGUSTING THREAD- RAT URINE

If you go to a good janitorial supply, they will have uric acid neutralizer. It works great for this kind of thing.
