Cut the bottom lip off and added a baking pan on sliders. Works great.

Quick question....If I cut the bottom front lip off, how do you think that would effect stability? Thinking of hacking it off and putting a sheet of wood on slides so I can access the stuff better on the bottom. Would loose 3" or so by if I had to put it above the lip. Thoughts?
