I wouldn't spend the $80 at full price. Can't complain at $40. If you want this to use daily at a shop I don't think it would hold up. You would be better off buying a HF version if you plan to use a lot.

Yea I looked at this in the store.. The metal is really thin.. To the point that opening the lid felt like it might bend under the pressure of the lifts.. If it's not gonna get banged around, or you just wanna store some light things I SUPPOSE it would be ok.. BUT - if you're a mechanic I'd pass.. Get the HF model.. It's ALOT more for the money, and still cheap considering..

I have to admit, the other thread going around had me second guessing so I ordered one online, but I think I'm just gonna cancel it..

KC give it a chance i looked at it in the store too. Once i got mine put together with the better hardware on it and got it trued up it really is not that bad. Gonna work out well for what i have it pegged for. Its up to you but i would give it a whirl I am glad i did.

I think part of the reason the store one is so rickity is they just throw them together and set it out there for customers to play with.

My $40 Husky tool cart order is ready for store pick up but I was able to check out a display unit at another HD and it was beatened, racked, twisted and wobbly. Going to cancel my order because its way too small and flimsy for my intended use. Newer Husky tool boxes have improved a lot with each generation but this tool cart is like HD's basic HDX line.

Went with my buddy to look at these today, save the trip, pretty flimsy and small drawers , I'd spend the extra and get the HF 4 or 5 drawer, preferably the 5 drawer.

I am quite happy with the cart. 35$ after a 5$ off coupon. It is not the best quality but for a home use cart it is hard to beat for a brand new tool cart. HF black cart is 99$ but there is a decent price gap there and not worth near triple the cost IMO.

After reading the other thread I went and ordered it online last night and picked it up today.

I have not opened yet but will get the upgraded hardware and try it. For forty dollars I really don't care if I end up using as its intended, or use it for parts to modify some of my other boxes, benches or carts. I can always use an extra set of drawers, especially in black.

It's not going to be used in a commercial setting.

Yeah I think it's a good deal. Not flimsy with all bolts tightened. Good cart for 39

You guys that are complaining about it being flemsy must be rolling around tanks. If you use different hardware, this is a nice cart.
