Hey thanks for your reply Dave455. It looks like by the time I purchased the right pitch gauge or ordered the matching bolt I may be better off to take a trip down to my local machinist shop. Like you said it’s probably a straight forward job for him. (Man has been in the game for half a century)

Thanks for the reply JZiggy. I’m waiting to find a way to confirm the pitch before ordering something. Standard pitch gauges only let me see that it’s close to a 1/2” course thread. I was afraid to try and tap the swivel base because the threads are so close. I suppose I could drill the holes...
