    149# Anvil Identification

I bought this anvil at an estate auction and am interested in any information you all may have on it. It has what I think is the word “WROUGHT” cast in a circle. Also has “ W 149” cast in. I assume this is the weight as it tipped the scale at about 148lb. Thanks for your interest.

    Proto 5450 and 5450XL

Both great ratchets. XL is a little greater tooth count. I use the non-XL as a breaker bar instead of a standard breaker.

    Craftsman 41 inch intermediate drawer

I could use one myself. I looked for something similar a while back and struck out.

    Spreading the Bonney affliction!

That's great. I have been keeping my eye open for any kind of estate auction or farm sale that would have some older tools. I have found that such events are few and far between in southeast Texas

    Spreading the Bonney affliction!

Thanks! I cleaned them up a bit this morning. I wish the roll was still as flexible as it probably was when new. I even got a chance to use them today. I bought an oxy acetylene cutting torch setup (bottles and cart- no regulators) at a garage sale this morning for $5 that had a bent up cart...

My first set of Bonney wrenches. Very nice wrenches that belonged to my grandfather.

What is this tool used for?

Thanks for the replies! Barrel handling tool makes sense...the family that the estate belonged to owned a local oil company.

What is this tool used for?

This came with a lot at an auction. Anyone know what it is for? I suspect the owner didn't want to lose it since he painted it fluorescent orange. Thanks for any info.
