    Anyone used SATA wrenches?

Interesting! How do you like the ratcheting stuff? I had a set of Gearwrenches at work years back and they were good.

    Anyone used SATA wrenches?

Did a search and was surprised how few threads there are about this company, and most are over ten years old. Anyone used any SATA brand tools recently, specifically the wrenches? Lower price point and lots of reviews complaining about issues with the finish, but as a cheap “get every size you...

Icon Snap on long nose talon pliers coming out soon?

Aren’t they currently selling a clone of the 3 position normal slip jaw, and it’s just the needle nose that hasn’t shipped yet? It would be weird if they were sued for knocking off one version but not the other.

Any news on if the LN47ACF clones are ever actually coming out?

Signet 22090 bit ratchet. Ordered from Japan as even with shipping it was cheaper than buying domestically. And it only took like a week to get here! I truly did not appreciate how tiny this would be. Pictured next to my last purchase, a Proto 1” breaker bar for scale.

What would you get if you needed a single 1” drive socket for lugnuts?

I mean both the title and the body of the post explicitly state I’m planning to buy a single socket so… I wouldn’t?

What would you get if you needed a single 1” drive socket for lugnuts?

It’s an old Craftsman and a 12 point (all I had in 1/2” 13/16) but I am absolutely open to the possibility it’s just crappy.

What would you get if you needed a single 1” drive socket for lugnuts?

Thankfully the lugs are clear and proud on the cheap steel factory wheels of mid 2000’s Toyotas lol.

What would you get if you needed a single 1” drive socket for lugnuts?

I have a 1/2” drive I’ve been using. I originally was just looking for a longer and sturdy version but I came across this relatively cheaply and went with it. I know that practically it’ll only be a small step up but I still think it’ll be fun to use.

What would you get if you needed a single 1” drive socket for lugnuts?

That’s a totally fair question. To answer, there’s nothing my current 25” long 1/2” drive breaker can’t manage when taking the lugs offs. I had a couple where the studs got all janky and the nuts were almost cutting new threads, but I replaced those studs and all the remaining ones aren’t an...

What would you get if you needed a single 1” drive socket for lugnuts?

Recently got a new breaker bar off eBay, thought I had a socket in 1” drive but it’s actually 3/4”. I’m just using it for lugnuts so I don’t need a whole set. I think both cars are 21mm, although I need to check the mini van (2006 Sienna). Searching on eBay is a nightmare since I can’t easily...

Hex Keys - most versatile form factor?

The L shape, long length, ball end on the long end only are the most versatile. Eklind is fine, Bondhus is better. Cheaper than that have been (in my experience) ****. More expensive has been unneeded (again in my experience). T handles are great if you need higher control and torque for a...
