This. The weight of the gate wants to turn it into a parallelogram where the top left and bottom right corners have gotten closer together. Pulling them together with a steel cable isnt going to help matters but "wedging" a piece of wood in there would hold them apart.
Very nicely done. I made something similar a while back using plywood (prior to ever seeing the Sortimo setup that Adam has) , mine only holds somewhere around 16 cases though. When I run out of space or move into another house, I'll probably remake it to resemble yours/the sortimo version.

I'm sure the guy who cross threaded one of my lugs knew what he was doing too. I even got told it wasn't possible because the impact guns they use limit torque in the forward direction. Lost any future business from me. I bet they saved a couple minutes though.
