Pulling down the 8 footers and conduit makes no sense. All I had to do with this retrofit was bypass the ballast. Took longer to wipe down the reflectors than to rewire it.

And we have a fix. Replaced the receiver on the garage door opener and now have no issues at all. These retrofits are awesome.

I've tried wrapping around twice with the ferrite. None of the linked lights will work as I am doing 8ft led in a farm shop. We got mild success with one row of lights being fine by extending the antenna wire a foot.

Hey guys,
Having an issue with some 8ft t12 led tubes with rd17 base I got off Amazon causing radio interference with the garage door opener. I realize they are cheap leds but could not find a reputable manufacturer. I ordered some ferrite cores and they don't seem to help. Anyone...
Finally got back home from traveling and was able to spend a few hours in the shop. Was able to get some cleaning and small projects knocked out. Hung one of the cabinets I had picked up the other day at the garage sale. Need to tack weld part of the frame to even out the doors but other...
Just wanted to give an update for anyone else who needs info. Ended up buying the rebuild kit for a craftsman ratchet off ebay for about 30 bucks. Worked like a champ and now have a spare set of guts if I ever have an issue in the future...
I haven't built it yet but I was always thinking of using a large laundry detergent bottle with the push button spout. Put it on a shelf above the sink and you have a gallon or so of water ready to go.
I feel like the fines only get spongy in the wet seasons. Around me (northern IL) they sell a road mix (CA 6 I think its called) which is a mix of the 1/2 to 3/4 and fines. The fines act almost like a cement to help hold the larger rocks. The key to fixing potholes in the driveway is...
Sorry about the Photo Issue, should have it fixed now.
Not much happening in the garage but did go to a garage sale the other day and scored some metal cabinets. Even with the few rust spots for 5 bucks each I wasn't complaining. Not sure where they will all go right now. Also grabbed a...
Made in the US I think your only chance is dewalt or craftsman, and I am not even sure if those are part of the assembled in US group. As far as best blade holder I have been happy with my Milwaukee.
The wire was probably one of the "premium" branded products, vulcan I do belive. There is usually a separate coupon for 10 percent off or so. Will say the wire welds decent on my miller welder.
Totally haven't forgotten this thread, just been a busy summer. Between work, girlfriends house, and tractor shows I haven't been home more than 5 days in a row in about 4 months.
Picked up all these chi com wrenches for 35 bucks. Needed a second set of the large sizes on my truck for...
