If its on the engine check with the engine mfg. Not sure who made the engines in the 443 but on the bigger units I go straight to kubota for those parts
My personal preference is a used commercial machine. They are built to last and are really tough. Also easier to get parts for IMO. I think your budget supports a gently used (1-2 seasons) commercial machine. Though, I do understand shopping for one kind of ***** and contractors are gearing up...
I had these same thoughts when I built my roof. Mine sat for maybe 2 weeks uncovered in the rain. Absolutely no damage. A few saw cut edges swelled up a little but dried right out once the weather warmed up and I papered and shingled it.

Im surprised there isnt more love for Benchmark Abrasives here. I run their flap discs, cut off wheels, and roloc sanding discs. I go through 30 or so flap disks a year and maybe 60 roloc sanding discs.
Maybe I would get more life out of a different brand but at 2.** a 4.5" flat disc I cant...
I still have mine and use it fairly often! Ive had some trigger wire problems I soldered back together but thats been it. This thing has paid for itself many times and owes me nothing
