yes of course, imo dont even bother if you are not going to do all walls and ceiling....leaving ceiling un-insulated would be like leaving big garage doors open. Hell i even got insulated doors.Totally worth it.
btw, what are your intentions with the garage? If its gonna be just to store your...
In my opinion, insulated garage is worth every penny!!! I just added insulation and finished drywall in my 25x25 detached garage. It use to be too cold to work in winter and too warm in summers. After insulation went up i noticed it stays 9-10*C warmer in winter then outside temperature and so...
imo you cant have too many lights!! But i agree with msgross, have them on different switches...maybe switch for each row? Only change i would suggest is to have lights directly on top of work bench you have in lower right corner. This way you wont have shadows when using bench.. as pointed out...
Ok thanks legacy. Do you carry it and how much is it for 24x25 garage? I am located in Vancouver,Canada so would also need it shipped to Blaine,WA ... Unless I can find it locally around here.
Ok what do you guys recommend I should use to fill the cracks? I always thought since cracks are too thin, it will be easily covered up by the epoxy as it lays thicker then paint. Also since I am doing 2 coats, it should not be visible. Also legacy, what is bridging primer?
I bought rustoleum kit from HD few weeks ago for my detached garage that we built back in January. Planning to do 2 coats of epoxy. Concrete floor has not been used yet and is free of any oil spills, etc. I have washed floor 3 times already to make sure there's no dust oN the floor before I apply...

Thanks mmfh, I would like to look into those personally. He said those unit would req 30-40amp circuit because of the big fan. Maybe he's thinking about big commercial units?? I would have to do some research on the much smaller unit as I think it would do the trick in small shop.
ok guys i am planning on building 14'x 30'garage starting in june.I was talking to my electrician yesterday and after going through entire house's electric load,he strongly thinks i would not have enough left over amperage to run big heaters (mr freeze, etc) as it would put me over 200amp service...
I work for a honda dealer out in vancouver, canada. When i get a brake flush job, first thing i do is remove entire brake fluid out of master cylinder reservoir using vacumm bleeder. Most of the time i would need to get into every corner and bottom of the reservoir since thats where all the film is...
Yes i was also thinking about that at my work today. We have asymmetrical hoist at work that raises 6'0".I am 6'5" but i am planning on buying a hoist that 'raises arms 7' high. This way when hoist is not in use, i can always raise it up in case i need to work on a car that doesnt need a hoist...
Hm you guys are giving me lot to think about for sure. Here's whAt I came up with... I have my mustang parked in my attached garage. I am going to tape off an imaginary wall and see what 14' wide space looks with car parked inside.
If It seems like its doable then I would just go ahead with...
