So a regular light mop shouldn't leave any water down on the concrete?

How does RD handle liquids? I wouldn't want to be tearing up large sections of my floor to thoroughly clean up a small coolant/oil/etc spill.

Looks great! Excellent use of space and neat ideas. One note; why not use ABS pipe for the elec hand tool storage? It's already black. No issues with paint chipping. I would love to build something like this. Even half the size. Moving every three years kinda prohibits that... Someday!
