I was all set to use a rapid air setup........BUT.......the neighbor has it in his garage and it let go in the middle of a run last night........luckily he heard the compressor running and got away without burning it up..........going to rethink my setup now

As the building is classed as an “accessory” structure the interior does not have to be complete before the permit is signed off.

That is just the way the sun is hitting the metal cladding.........and probably a little bit of road grime from when I hauled the material home.........no plan on enclosing the sides (for now)

Different construction but.........under my five inch slab I used 3” XP’s and on the outside of my frost walls I used 4” from the top of the frost wall to 32” below grade

I think your budget is a little low for your build........I am currently building a 40x60
The site prep was 10k and concrete and placement was 12k , I did all the form work and all prep including under slab insulation and rebar work. The actual enclosed size is 32x40 with two 14’ wings.

Building permit here for my 40x60 was almost 1000 bucks.........the electrical permit is about the same and the hookup by the local electric utility is another 900. ( which really bites because I am the guy that will hook the service up, I am the local line foreman for the Utility...
Built a set of dollies for my sled..... as the skis have carbide runners on them I didn’t want to run the sled into my new shop and mark up the floor I did a bunch of internetting and came up with these
Still need a bit of work as I am not 100% happy with them yet......but they work.
No heat in...
Don’t pin the slab to the walls.......better that the slab is compacted correctly to ensure no movement.
If the compaction is subpar the pins in the walls can cause cracking of the slab under load.
Just my opinion but have poured a few floors

I had a hard time deciding which side I wanted the stem wall insulated on...... Inside was less initial work and less cost as the foam only had to go down to meet up with the underfloor insulation, but on the outside was to go down to top of footer ( 4’ ).
