Out in the country ... but the slab did have at least a 12" footing all around already. Weather isn't bad here, so we don't have to worry about the ground freezing.

It was nailed I do believe .... my uncle did it, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't screws.

Yes, lol .. when I looked this morning it was all clear but a very few spots that must have been a little thicker ... the garage was only 59 degeres .. so will take a bit longer to dry . but the instructions said as long as it was 50 or above.

Put the clear on tonight .. realy looked freaky going on as it was white .. but it's starting to dry clear now.

Clear coat goes on this afternoon, I'll get some pics up later.

I just did mine .. not with Rustoleum, but Quikrete (similar) ... even if you plan it well, it will probably take longer than you think. I was luck and have a trailer, so all the tool boxes and some other things were wheeled in and locked up. My worst situation was letting the floor dry out...

Well, it's been a long last few days .... in this order I swept the garage, then swept it again ... blew it out with the leaf blower. Then I degreased the floor and rinsed it out, then I used an etching solution on it that came with the Quikrete system and rinsed it and then left it to dry...

You're welcome ... once it's painted it's fine .. it does soak up some paint though, when we rolled the ceiling all the voids and everything were filled, but when it dried some of them became visible again .. but overall it looks great and was alot less than any other kind of wall board.

http://www.texasgarages.com/insulation.htm Just cut it to size, and put it on with double sticky tape .. I could lay my hand against the unprotected metal door and it was ice cold ... with the insulation most of that is kept out. The things I have noticed .. it creaks some as the door goes up...

Behind on the updates ... got the baseboards painted a while back. Then proceeded to have a 30'x20' carport added to the front ... it's been great having it so far. Next is an Epoxy floor over the Thanksgiving Holidays

Big improvement .. with some more lighting and hopefully a light wall color, it should really brighten up the space.

Ironically, my garage does have red white and black in it .. hadn't thought about that till now :lol:

What would you suggest for a floor that would see welding, grinding .. sparks?

Appreciate the comments, but that picture is not my truck, its just one that I drolled over .. the first ones of the cab are though. Were you at the Montgomery Super Chevy show or one up North?
