If you have a Sams club membership, I just purchased a GE 24000 btu ac unit for 424.00 on line only. Just put it in last week. I'm probably 45 minutes or so from you, get the humidity down and it helps a lot.

For the married guys, I got a way around the garage bigger than the house argument, We built the house on top of the garage. Kind of like a modern Krass & Bernie type. Some day when I get the garage organized, I hope to do a garage thread.
