Do You Want a Bigger Garage? - Look at this Thread.

I'm looking at getting shipping containers. As for zoning. I'm going the forgiveness is better than permission route. The more i ralk to my city officials, the less competent I think they are. Shipping containers can handle about 200#/sqft distributed load on their roofs. Seal it really well...

    Reversing switch help needed.

Wow, you guys rock. Thanks for the response. Lots of reading to do. all the drum switch stuff I looked at did not appear to have any spst or spdt capability. And of course searching the interwebs for what my mechanical engineering brain thinks it should be called was not very fruitful...

    Reversing switch help needed.

I am trying to set my lathe up with the ability to reverse the electric motor. The motor is an AO Smith aka Century electric Split phase 110V motor that has provisions to reverse directions by swapping two wires. Here's a link to the catalog page. I have been all over the Century website...

    FRONT Trailer Hitch Build

I dont know much about Ranch Hand bumpers but they look pretty beefy. I guess the only thing id be concerned about is not the bumper, but the frame horns that the bumper bolts to. My receiver bolts to the frame using 4 of the 6 tow hook bolts, directly to the frame. The stock bumper bolts to...

    FRONT Trailer Hitch Build

Figured I'd toss up some pics of the hitch I built for the front of my 02 2500HD. I have some tight space to maneuver in my backyard back where I store the car and horse trailers, this has been awesome to use in maneuvering stuff around the yard. The receiver piece I bought from the local tool...

Thanks for the feedback on the redo. Amazing what a foam roller and a can of Rustoleum can do. I spent a little while bending up two more handles to fit and I fuddled with the rollers and glides to make it require a little more force to crack the drawers open.. I think I will skip the cabinet...

    Tool Box ID

I picked up a 480mm "Euro" drawer pull from Lowes to see if it would fit. The spacing was about 1/2" too wide so I put a bend in the middle of the pull to make the legs come together a bit..worked like a charm especially since the holes go into the radius of the drawer pans. Oh and Lista pics...

Thanks everybody. I have been looking at vintage office furniture as well, but no dice so far. It has some holes punched in the top, so I was thinking under-bench or under desk mount as well. The square holes for the drawer glides look like my Lista too. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
