One of the feature sof the mount that sold me, was its ability to swing out for use, and swing back to the wall when not in use. That way it only sticks out as far as the bag is wide
If you have the ability to mount to studs on your walls, century makes a wall mount that Ive used for years. It was my only option at the time besides a free standing stand.
Tried a quick 4 dollar option, with the splitter adapter posted in a reply, so I have 2 bulbs per fixture now instead of 1. Increased the amount of light tremendously. Also, while I was on the ladder at the ceiling I noticed a block off plate about 4 feet closer to the over head from the 2...
Thanks guys, 2many projects, I do not have access to the attic. The opening in the garage is by far too small for anyone to get through, we found that out the hard way when I had to put a new xhaust fan in the bathroom. Ive spoken with the landlord about making certain changes and they wont...
Ill start off by appologizing if my terminology isnt correct, so bare with me fellas/ladies. First and foremost My garage is a 22x30 attatched 2 car in a duplex, the lady and I are renting. Currently there are 2 lights in the garage, and when I say 2, I mean two single bulbs. The porcelain...
I was just in the same boat, with 186 dollars worth of amazon bucks. Bought a couple nice streamlight flashlights and a 12 pack of 123 batterys, and a set of flex sockets for some PIA jobs ive encountered.
I've used all types of those pliers and the ones that seem to work best are the types that have a screwdriver handle and shaped like a putty knife. The fancy ones that seperate the two parts end up breaking fairly quickly. I picked up a set off our matco guy for 20 bucks, came with 5 different...
Do you have access to any scrap sheet metal or anything similar? If you do you could always cut pieces to the width of the drawer as a whole, and use metal shears to cut opens vertically so it slides over the dividers, does that make sense?
I grew up in my grandpas garage while he worked on cars and other misc wood/metal projects. He always drank PBR and to this day I do too. Ever since he passed as soon as I step foot in the garage to work on anything I crack one for him.
I've always had good luck with my Kobalt sets from Lowes. They have a lifetime warranty too like craftsmen and theyre on sale a hell of alot more. I got my 154 piece set for 64.95. Built 2 motorcycles and odd jobs around the garage/house without a single hiccup in the last 2 years
I'll post som epictures tonight, but mine is framed with 2x4s and plastic sheeting as the walls. Have to replace the plastic every 6 months but its very inexpensive
Re: what did you do in your garage today?
I took the top off our old coffee table, some gate hingesand chain and hung it on the wall to make a folding gun cleaning table
