Slow work in progress. Built a new house two years ago next to the shed so that has taken up some time doing landscaping and finishing projects. I put up a loft in the corner. Just finishing that and I can add shelving and get things more organized. I’ll have to get some pictures uploaded.

Got a little bit of an update. Got some gravel put in over the pit run I had to make things a bit more smooth. Also picked up some insulation to start getting things moving on that front.

I have a little over 1000 sq ft garage and went with a 75,000 btu. I only heat the garage when I'm going out there to work and I like that I can heat it up quickly. I'm sure it's not as efficient as the 45,000 would be but it's worth it to get it up to temp. I really need to get a thermostat...

Would there be some way to heat some sort of thermal tank during the off peak time and then use that thermal energy during the peak time to keep the space warm?

I though about using heat tape also, Would you run it inside the pipe? No dry well then?

I have floor drains installed in my shed in front if each overhead door. I was originally going to run the drain to daylight out the back if the property where the grade tapers off. The more I was thinking about it I may want to put in a dry well to have a place for water to drain in the winter...

I've done some work at their facility down the road from my house and didn't realized how big they were until working there and talking with some of the workers. They are on my list of places to contact on getting insulation for my building.

Hello from a fellow wisconsinite. I also really like my Wick building. Where did you end up getting the large/wide rolls of insulation from? I'm still doing some research as to what my best options are going to be to insulate my building.
