I recently picked up a Whitney No.50 angle iron notcher to compliment my Whitney angle shear but I've hit quite a major obstacle.
How the hell do you take the damn thing apart? I wanted to clean it up since the previous owner decided that slurry would be a great substitute for paint and didn't...
Had a decent weekend, in spite of the heavy rain, and picked up 3 nice vises
1). Yost patter makers vise. I'm not sure of the number since it's somewhat obscured bit it looks like an 18. It's got 4.5" wide jaws.
2) Parker #87 with 3.5" jaws. This little one is really nice and complete! Pipe...
I think Athol was the only mfg. to use Buttress threads on a vise. Catalyze had a post on here years ago that explained the benefits of that particular thread style.

Didn't your come from some old guy on CL for like 75.00?:eyecrazy:
The first 2C I grabbed was priced at 60.00 and I offered the guy 80.00 so he wouldn't sell it until I could get down there. They are frequently listed at Reed 10,20,30 or 40. Nobody assumes that is actually a "C" on there.
