I always kind of liked those Craftsman Quick wrenches, they were the longest wrenches i had for a while and would use almost the box end exclusively. There is one job i recall that the open end actually ended up being the most efficient way to do the job.

At my first job as an industrial mechanic we were issued that 12 point SAE Armstrong socket set and a 15 inch armstrong ratchet. The sockets were used heavily on both ratchets and impact guns. I'm sure they will serve you well.

I have there old style extra long 3 piece flex head ratchet set. The 25" long 1/2" sees the most use and it has held up well. I believe it was actually rebranded as Mac for a while too.
These ratchets were great. They were branded under several different brands. Unfortunately kits are hard to come by, but there were so many ratchets made a replacement from ebay should be easy to find and would likely cost about the same as a kit.
