On the bottom of that old ad ,just after the shipping weight , it has F.o.b factory What does that mean ?

Picked up this little tool box at a farm machinery sale yesterday, I though at first it was a apprentice type box but on closer inspection it seems factory made , it will make a handy little box for something once it’s cleaned up, ( That’s my Samsung phone for size comparison)

Apart from VS2 and the logo of a bird? over a W , I can't find anything , seems well made and possibly European , I only paid £5 for its curiosity value

Bought this last week , no idea of the make

Hi, I'm in need of a couple of keys for a old Kennedy 520 machinist chest , They seem to be available on eBay ( over in America ) but the vendors either won't post to England or want crazy money to post a tiny key . Any suggestions folks ?

I can't see anything apart from random pits , the pictures need improving , If there is anything there perhaps the tools were wrapped in newspaper and the paper / print acids etched their way onto the metal ?

I bought a tatty one at at Autojumble ( swap meet) for £15 , struggled to sell it on eBay , got about £40 , they are ok but not heavy gauge steel like my Hazet or Stahlwille Rollmaster They turn up from time to time on eBay UK

How did you manage to get Waterloo to help ? I have Waterloo industrial 526 that's missing it's door and they more or less shrugged it off ,or did you strike lucky with a helpful person ? . I said I was happy with any colour or finish but no joy . I'd be greatful for any leads

I'm refurbing a Kennedy 520 tool chest , is there a clever way to remove and reuse the plastic draw pulls ? , they look like the hollow round locating pin was staked square , Will they squeeze back round to remove for painting? If I could get new ones ,I'd be happy but I'm in England so parts...

Love the old adverts . Do the crazy wheels make a difference ? They look like they would cut thru a power cable if you weren't careful

Lovely work on the box , did you remove all the old finish ? Sanded or scraped , I've got the same box that needs refurbing ( and a little repair for a split on the side where the screws go in )
