yeah... anvil prices are going through the roof, been searching for a couple years now for something decent
found a ad about some anvils for sale $50-$100 each about 20 of them
I sent them my phone number and heard nothing, couple months later phone rings and its a nice lady about the anvils...
to be perfectly honest, I dont think many techs clean them up unless they are exceptionally dirty or crusty preventing the new hub sliding in.... you want the hub to fit as tight as possible, its not just the bolts that hold the hub in place its the tightly machined mating surfaces as well...
some idiot kicked a can of pvc conduit cement off some scaffolding a week ago
of course that idiot didn't get off the scaffolding to go clean up his mess
and then dropped his irwin wire strippers (same handle best I can tell) from 15 feet up and managed to drop them right in the spilled cement...
been eyeing these had no idea I could save a $100 each
will be lurking and waiting for when they go on sale again
guess I will buy in store instead of online to make sure i get the updated version
cant decide to start with 2 or go all in and buy 4 buy once cry once
The Gila film at Home Depot is what I used on our bathroom window that is shin high, faces the street, and clear as day :) even with blinds you could get a show from the street
its just like working with window tint so it can be frustrating depending on how much you have worked with tint

I bought some from Northern Tool... I bought two and made a wide work platform to put lights up in my shop.
currently debating on selling them or taking them back apart and squirreling them away in a corner. At worst I sell them and I lose less money than what it would have cost to rent some...
