    Cleaning Epoxy Garage

Describe the "very dirty" parts. My (epoxy)floor is 2 weeks old. I was planning to buy a squeegee and just hose it out periodically using the highest pressure from my garden hose nozzle. I wash my cars in the drive-way. Let's see some pics.

    Flakes without top clearcoat?

It is my understanding that the flakes without clear-coat are more difficult to keep clean; the clear-coat seals the flakes and provides a sealed surface which eliminates the little places for dirt/dust to accumulate over time. I applied 1 coat of clear-coat (Devoe Devthane 379UVA...

It's finally Finished, another Devoe Floor

Your right .... does feel good on the bare feet .... I hate to put down my old mats .... Now when I pull something out to do a task, I put it back when I'm done and cleanup immediately so as to keep that showroom look. My wife loves that !!!! Haven't had the cars in yet !

Check-out your local health club to see what they used in their weight room. I'm certain they can give you proper guidance.

It's finally Finished, another Devoe Floor

    1. Scraped (by hand) the floor of all paint drips, concrete blobs, etc. 2. Patched all cracks and gauges. waited 2 days to let the patching stuff dry. 3. Washed with detergent and rinsed, rinsed, rinsed. 4. Etched with Seal Krete Clean-N-Etch and rinsed, rinsed, rinsed. waited...

It's finally Finished, another Devoe Floor

    The area is just under 400 ft2. The cost was as follows - Cement Paint for the Stem Walls ........ 20.00 - Devran 224HS Epoxy (3) ................... 209.19 - Devran Converter (3) ....................... 178.89 - Devthane 379UVA (1) ...

It's finally Finished, another Devoe Floor

    1. Take more time dispensing the flakes, use small amounts and throw higher. 2. I made my own spikes (see pic below) with straps (twine) ..... the straps didn't work .... duct tape to the rescue. 3. I think I could have gotten away with using just 2 kits of Devran 224HS. 4. Be more careful...

    Clear-coat Application

The second coat of epoxy (Devran 224HS) was applied 5 days ago, how long can I wait to apply the clear-coat (Devthane 379UVA)? Today (Sunday 8/9) is cloudy, humid, 85 degrees; is it okay to apply it today? Forget this .... I applied it ... good, bad, or indifferent, it's done!!!

Best way to prep stem walls

I did not epoxy the stem walls. I used regular cement paint in a dark gray to give them a clean look, and then had the Devran 224HS colored in the exact shade of gray and It matches perfectly.

    Help -- Missed Spots

The crisis is over. I spoke to the Devoe tech support guy and he sanctioned my solution of mixing a small batch and using s small roller. I did it and it worked out great. Tomorrow is clear-coat day (I think).
