    Williams Standard Set

Last weekend I found a Williams Standard 1/2 inch drive set. There are several interesting details. The shallow 12 point sockets run from 7/16 to 1 inch with 19 and 25/32's. The plug is captive, addressing the issue of where are all the plugs for the female ratchets. Additionally, the breaker...

    Under sizing heat pump

Is the intent to save $ on the install? If so, how much are you saving as opposed to a properly sized unit? If the calculations are run with your stated temp goals in place, the answer will be a correctly sized unit, no?

    J.C. Penny tools

Scored a PENNCRAFT 3805 1/2" drive ratchet made by NB for J C Penny yesterday, along with it's cousin, a HUSKY CS-45, marked U.S.A. 39. The PENNCRAFT is marked 38. Both have two patent numbers on the opposite side.

    3/16 Square DBE Wrench

I found a 3/16 Square DBE wrench marked Prestolite which I have Id'd as a tank wrench, apparently for a small acetalene tank. There are references to Indian motorcycles. Forgive my ignorance, but what is the motorcycle application for such a wrench? Thanks for your assistance. Bill

    Help identifying socket.

Others have addressed the use. I believe I remember seeing here that the vertical lines around the socket in the OP's photo ID the maker as New Britain. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Working on pics-I'm fighting with my new "smart phone". Upgrade necessitated by my carrier's move to 4g. Last summer I found a spring loaded, 1/2 inch drive, 5 steel ball device which I believed to be no name. However while cleaning last night, I found it to be lightly marked Snap on, with...
