I’ve been looking for a Delta/Rockwell 6” x48” belt 12” disc sander with the open splayed leg stand. 220 volt single phase is best. I think they’re 1940-50’s vintage. Stand alone tool not a bench top
Stinky Craftsman handles for me. I can’t figure out the aversion to older craftsman stuff.
I think it would be interesting to see how many professional old timers bought houses, raised families and put kids through college with stinky handled screwdrivers and Matt chrome raised panel wrenches.
I bought mine used on craigslist. It too was missing pins, that’s how I got it for $80.00 new condition. I made the replacement pins from steel rod and harbor freight hairpin clips.
Are you the original owner?
if so most window manufacturers offer a warranty ,used to be lifetime to the original owner. If not and you can determine who the manufacturer is call them. They may have a service department or can recommend a local replacement facility.
Small block plane my dad bought me on a Saturday from Walker Warren Hardware on Mountain Blvd in Oakland CA. I was nine. A couple years later a Thorsen beam torque wrench. Still got’em still use ‘em.
