I bought one these last year so far, I am missing hardware, I sorted out the missing caster nuts from homedepot. I am missing pin for engine hoist circled. I wanted to know what size bolt to order, I am going with grade 8. I lost the manual/legend that came with the bolts.
Does 4.8 bolts go at bottom??

Measure the size of the hole? :dunno:

Not sure why it needs to be a grade 8. It's just basically holding the bar in place. If it shears you already have much bigger problems.

I have had a really good experience sourcing spare and missing parts from HF tech support department (800) 444-3353. They are located in Calabasas or Agoura, CA.

If you just want get it locally all I can say is the one I have came with an unmarked bolt so I doubt it's anything special.

Their manuals and parts diagrams are on line as .pdfs. Actually one of the positive things about HF. Though some times, the Chinglish is not so swell.

The 2 ton shows different upcs, so you can check there for a manual.

Agree with others that grade 8 is overkill. Grade 2 or 5 should be plenty.

A hitch pin will probably work for the missing pin, and you can get a couple different diameters.

I bought mine used on craigslist. It too was missing pins, that’s how I got it for $80.00 new condition. I made the replacement pins from steel rod and harbor freight hairpin clips.

Looks like I have a M16 X 90mm in it. Could probably use a 5/8” X 3 1/2“.

Mine was $40 “missing some hardware”. When I asked, the seller said he lost some hardware pulling it out of the shed. I told him I was concerned about the low price. He said it’s priced that way because he wanted it gone today. My original plan was to use it once and repost it, but I really like having it around now. I store it at work, so that helps. I bought one and when I put it together it was missing the ram. Took it back to the store and they didn't exchange it but gave me a ram out of another box. So they kicked the can down the road to some other guy.
