    Channellock 906R 3/8" ratchet

Does anyone know when the Channellock 906R 3/8" ratchet was made? It is a round head, non-quick release ratchet. According to what I found on the web, it originally came with an adjustable socket. Sorry I do not have a photo of it.

    Vintage S-K Tools

Is anyone familiar with the 1/2" 42477 ratchet that has the green screwdriver type handle? (sorry I don't have a photo) I believe they made a 3/8" one that I would love to have also. My 42477 is about 20 years old, and in great shape. Does anyone know what it's worth?

    Matco vs snap on tools

Matco is owned by Danaher tool co., the same folks who have made craftsman for the last decade or two. If I'm not mistaken, Kobalt tools are made by them too. You can see how the quality of craftsman went down hill, e.g. China; so personally, I would stick with Snap-on!

3/8 drive head in 1/4 ratchet body

I have an S-K model #45173 that I purchased at least 15 years ago. It is exactly what you are looking for! It is their 1/4" drive ratchet with the 3/8"drive lug. It works like a champ in tight places, and takes the place of a 3/8" stubby ratchet. Hope this helps!

    Kobalt Ratchet

This past Sunday I purchased a Kobalt 3/8 drive teardrop ratchet #22800 (made in USA) at my local flee market for $2. The ratchet needed cleaned up and oiled, so I took it home, tore it apart, serviced it and put it back together. I noticed that the design, guts, and even quick-release button of...
