TNToy, yes, it does have the q-shaped knob. I used it last night and it is pretty awesome. Not too loud and made easy work of a tire change.

Man, this thing looks sweet. It also looks like it has the updated selector knob like the aircats have. I have been reading people's posts on here about the impact and thanks to them, I bought one.

the short pot life of epoxy coat disappointed me. with the high humidity and temp here in texas, i would probably only get 20-30 min. i went with the rustoleum professional and it was at least 1.5-2 hrs before it started to get gummy.

I've had the HF 3000 lb Al jack for 3yrs. My first one died within 30 days and HF replaced it free. The sears AL/Steel on is nice, but at 55lbs it weighs as much as my AC hydraulics DK20. I've been looking at the Al jack at costco that sells for $99. It looks to be better made than the HF jack...

I don't really have a negative opinion of the griots paint. I feel it is ok for a waterbased paint, but IMO the rustoleum solvent based epoxy is much better buy considering it is almost the same price per gallon.

the GG epoxy is ok, it goes on pretty easy and has little fumes. It was pretty durable since I did alot of work with jacks/jackstands. It lifted up in my old garage due to poor prep work on my part. I know better now thanks to this forum.

my past experience with Griots water based epoxy is that brake fluid will not lift it up even if it has been left on for days. In my new garage, I have the rustoleum solvent based epoxy and I don't think that brake fluid will hurt it.

Second the AC Hydraulics DK20. Definitely worth the money.

btw, www.hardwareworld.com has the rustoleum professional for $89+shipping for a 2gal kit! Lowe's and HD sell the water based version for the same price. It says it does 3-400 sq ft, but I covered a little over 500 sq ft. The Rust-o' professional is great stuff!

I just used the Rustoleum solvent based kit a few weeks ago. Man, that stuff smells real bad. You will need a good respirator or you will have some dead brain cells. I'd rather kill mine with alcohol than with paint.
