Thanks four cycle! I've looked before and I didn't realize gj had the trademark/logo info. I guess it's safe to assume the hammer could be over 100yrs old...and still being used hard.

I was putting a handle on a couple hammers. This one has a logo I can't find? Some sort of bird with the word "Chicago". Any ideas?

Don't usually hit garage sales. Been looking for a vintage jerry can, the locking lid is a nice feature. No rust inside, might even use it. $10 was more than I want to spend but it's in nice shape.

I almost didn't buy them. I don't need 2. I'd of rather got one for cheap like you recently did. It came with a new bottle of skil oil so I can't complain I guess.

Don't do too much wood stuff but $60 for both I was not gonna pass them up. Both appear to seen minimal use. A model 77 and a 367. Both run great...on to an oil change.

Where the copper line goes to the switch is likely how it unloads, often a little needle type valve. The other end would probably go to the tank check valve.
The tank check keeps the air in the tank when the compressor unloads. A bad tank check will either leak all the time out of the...
After looking more that's a champion compressor. Look online for a parts schematic using the mod #. Then you can see what we are referring to. You should be able to easily get parts since it's a champion compressor

I'm guessing that small copper line near the switch is the Unloader valve. There's a few configurations. Some pressure switches trigger the unloading valve. It takes pressure off the head after it shuts off. You should hear air come out of it after it shuts off. Usually when this happens I buy a...
Not sure on the voltage? Most likely the Unloader or start capacitor like the others mentioned. I like to buy them like that as it is a simple and inexpensive fix.

I have been following this thread and I will say all my Milwaukee purchases have pleased me. I am highly sceptical of new tools, it took me along time to finally buy gearwrench! I have quite a few m18 items in the garage so I figured I would try the yard tools.
A few weeks ago I picked up the...
You probably just want a spst switch. That switch looks like spdt with center off?
Only switch the hot lead. Your ground and neutral should not be hooked up to switch. Hot from switch goes to L1 on motor. Neutral and ground go straight to motor
Don't take this the wrong way but at first I...
