I agree. The motor mounting point on the saw is almost identical to the mating surface of the motor shown except its about 1/4" narrower. I wonder if there is a difference the saw motor mount through the years.
A friend of mine bought this Leeson 3hp motor to fit on his old Unisaw but the mounting brackets have the wrong spacing. He is looking to sell the motor but needs to know what tool it will fit. Does anyone have a way to determine this? Thanks
I bought a Bendpak 4 post from a local dealer and had them install it for $600. Well worth the extra costs.
I was initially was going to buy from Amazon so I could get the 5% in points and free shipping. I asked the local dealer if he would offer the 5% off. He came back with 8% off that...
I use a Powermatic PM1200 air cleaner for my 960 sqft woodshop. "The PM1200 air filtration system traps up to 99% of all 5‑micron particles and 85% of all 1‑micron particles for a healthier work environment." Works well in conjunction with the Powermatic double bag duct collector.
Got the New Bendpak Installed
Got a new Bendpak HD-9XW installed in my home garage. Main reason was to store a 1993 red Lightning after it gets a new paint job but I think it makes the garage look nicer.
In my 960 sq ft shop with 12 ft ceiling I have a 3 ton heat pump. The shop has 2 3' x 6' windows, a man door and temporary plywood carriage doors. Works very well!
In my 30' x 32' x 12' shop, I have 3 - 60" 3 bladed fan from Home Depot ($89 ea.). I keep the a/c on 86 deg even in 105 deg days. According to HD, they flow 9600 cfm.
