    The VISES of Garage Journal

I believe they were private labeled by Charles Parker. At least the style like yours. It's probably not a coincidence they use the same number.

I knew something was funky with the wrench. It's a Sargent...look for stamping on the front of the dynamic jaw.

The swivel lock handle isn't original, but otherwise looks very nice.

Common use for SAE 19/32 socket?

I have a newer Heyco Germany 21/32 socket. Occasionally run into some Chinese hardware that's supposed to be 11/16. 17mm fits but is sloppy. If you throw a pair of calipers on it, it's .656" which is exactly 21/32.

Where did all the Parker Vise Collars go!?

There's a reason why so many broke...kind of a design flaw...they work fine until the vise gets rusty, or the slide gets mushroomed or cracked. People crank on them too hard trying to get them unstuck, and it's just a thin casting that breaks easily.

    O'Reillys Tank Jack

Saw this on FB, thought it was fake, then saw it on O'Reillys website: https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c/tank-tough/tank-tough-3-ton-floor-jack/tnk0/tt20231 Searched here and didn't see it mentioned. Anyone have one yet?

face plate for old Craftsman 3-1/2" bench vise

Buy another one for donor jaws. This style craftsman is one of the most common vises out there.

    YOST 32 VISE

It's missing the pipe jaws, I would pass. Also, looks like the slide support is gone under the dynamic jaw. Definitely pass.

The chart is a little wonky, but 406 lbs for the swivel base version?!?! That is one heck of a swivel base...136 lbs by itself!!!

Snap On Chest & Wilton Baby Vise sold.... $123.

Because it was local pick up only, if it was just the vise and they shipped, it would have gone over 400. Sometimes people just don't want money lol.
