Actually most of the pole builders here recognize that we need a mechanical connection to the house to get the size we are looking for and i have contacted pole builders. Most are looking for 20-25k for the structure only. I am trying to find out a finished product.
200 amp service Iis what I would need to maintain service for my welders, air compressor and future lift and future equipment with lights and outlets. I can basically build as big as i want as long as it's attached to my house (the breeeway) and my house and it doesn't take up more than 70% of...
I don't have time to build it myself so I need at least the structure, floor and outside complete with doors. I have 35k saved up just for this and it's taken me years to get here. My essential needs are:
200 amp service minimum
3 full service bays
12 ft height minimum(would like 16)
6/12 roof...
Forgot to mention that we have 20ft height restriction on accessory buildings here so I think the best I can get away with would be 16ft with a 4/12 roof?

I'm kind of limited by county regs. Trust me, if I could a 100x100 up I would but due to the county I'm limited to 40x72 due to my lot size

I'm getting ready to buy a house and my parents will most likely be selling theirs to move in. I know my dad won't be giving up his toys and I also have mine so the question is how big is adequate? I was thinking 40x60 or 40x72. Unfortunately, there's a huge price difference in just building the...
Do you know anyone here that can bring you a HF one back when they visit? Overweight is cheaper than shipping. I visited some family in Scotland back in July and I packed 100lbs worth of tools my uncle wanted and brought it over for less the $100 US

For what it's worth, all of my stuff is now "assembled in USA" I sold most of my snap on, matco, etc stuff a long time ago and kept the important items like torque wrenches, ratchets etc. Sockets are cheap and cheaply made no matter where you buy them. The thing about having a thin wall strong...
I'm subscribing so I can steal this design later on. By the way, how would you suggest incorporating a vise, tube notcher, and possibly a shrinker/stretcher into your design?
If you're still reading this of course lol ;)
just over 20K isn't bad at all! my 30x40 I have planned is 20k before concrete and rentals. Material is so expensive here that its almost worth paying a contractor to just go ahead and get it done. My last contractor quote for a 30x50 $25K.
Looks good! I like how you have it designed.
What did you use for the hand holes and what will you use for gloves? Currently in the process of building my own cabinet but like yours much better! :D
