Thanks I appreciate it!
We are actually just inside Granville county on Bruce Garner Rd. I think I’ve finally settled with the HOA on a 28x30 with a overhang on the left side wide enough for a vehicle. I’ll definitely reach out to Kushan for a quote soon.
Depending on the prices I was thinking...
Congrats!!
I’m also in the north part of Wake County now. I built my last one over by Rolesville (documented on here) but we just moved and I’m struggling with the new HOA as of now. Do you mind sharing your builder? I don’t have the time to build the new shop myself and I’ve had a very hard...
This is the 39000. I got it used off craigslist for 1k. previous owner bought it new about 4 years before I got it. I had a father and son team install it for me 400 bucks. I wanted to make sure it was done right. He has been doing it for over 25 years and he said this lift was built way...
There are tons of photos of the concrete, look on page one, I didn't put the building up then concrete. The way my engineer wanted it was each pole had a 4' by 24" hole. Then I put two pieces of 24in rebar making an X through the pole 6 inches from the bottom. Then back fill each hole with 12in...
quick update, I was tired of having to grab bottles off the shelf so I grabbed a metal cabinet for $50 fits perfectly in between the doors.
Also, I wanted to fill in the gravel around the shop so I got two loads and spread it out last weekend. need to get some sand to level out my edgers but...
That's an understatement. The lift has already made me over 14k of pure profit for maybe a total of 7hrs of work. Wouldn't have touched those projects if I didn't have it!
Sorry just seen this, it is an 05, 70k mi, cam, pushrods, springs, seats, retainers and locks, full exhaust, cutouts, intake, tune all ready to go $20k if you want her!
Pics are Fixed! I could kill Photobucket. That took forever!
the A/C works great. I have a new Goodman A/C Heat pump traditional split unit and it is amazing, it barely runs even with the massive hole for the loft. I am building some doors for that Tuesday though with insulation on the back to...
So I have done a TON of work and got all of the walls sealed, shelves up, second bench made, peg board put in and installed my air compressor with a Rapidair Kit. The kit was great took me a couple of hours for both hose reels and 2 ports on each bench.
Also the engine in the pic is from a...
no the 3/8 is perfectly straight, its really not as thin as you think. The perlins I put in are on 24in centers.
I have swapped 3 motors so far 2 clutches and a boat motor and have plenty of room. When a car is on the lift there is about 4 ft from the car to that wall.
Thanks!
So I have been slacking! Haven't really done much on the garage (busy the last weekends) but finally got the inside of the shed all cleaned up and organized and decided to make a ramp for the lawn mower.
I'll be back soon with the shelves done and compressor installed in the shop!
I would agree but I have like 30 T8 lights. As it is right now I have 15 on one switch and 15 on the other and I rarely have to use both. The only reason why I don't want to paint it is because it will never look smooth unless it get a ton of filler/sanding...the reason why I'd like to do the...
