    Hydraulic fitting not accessible?

I wanted to thank all of you for the replies. I was able to complete the repair today. It turns out that it was not a threaded coupling but a parker push-lock fitting that had a bad o-ring. It was surprisingly easy to remove the hose and replace the coupling and reinstall said hose. As a bonus...

    Hydraulic fitting not accessible?

I had come to those solutions myself. I was hoping a more intelligent member of the community would simply say “oh sure need a hyd-slip-socket-widget-dealy and the part number is 87654-HSSWD” 😔

    Hydraulic fitting not accessible?

I have a hydraulic fitting that is leaking on a vertical man lift (JLG MVL20). I can not seem to get a wrench on it. I assume i could remove the lower line to access the top line that is leaking in the fitting but i would prefer not making a mess. The cylinder is above the block and mounted...

    Canless fixtures

Do can-less light fixtures need to be replaced as an assembly, meaning can you change just the light or just the junction box/ driver? I assume the driver (in the junction box) may not be universally interchangeable. I have some that have went bad and the particular one is no longer available...

At what point would you buy a battery operated nailer compared to using a hammer?

The cordless are a huge convenience when you arent doing a lot of nailing. That said i just did 12’x18’ room with shiplap on both walls and ceiling. I used the milwaukee cordless exclusively. They are great but- heavy. I would buy them again in a minute. I did use a pneumatic framing nailer...

Looking for a basic, sturdy, reliable VOM

I have a couple of flukes that i use regularly for work, i keep a klein at the cabin and have no issues with it. I actually bought my son a klein this summer when he needed one for work. His first response was- wait you didn't get me a fluke? He likes it and the senior tech he works with liked...
