Thanks! The lift is about 12ft from the north/back wall and 3ft from the west/leftside wall, allowing room in front for cabinets and on the left for a toolbox, and room to walk around and work on things. Very happy with the distance though I've only worked on smaller cars. Still a little...
8 years in this garage. Still loving it. Some regrets though; wished we:
-Built a bigger garage
-Moved the lift over by a couple inches to fit a second parking lift next to it
-Picked a darker grout color. Tile cleans up nice but light colored grout stains easily.
Apologies I'm many years late to respond. The garage is wired for tv/internet but sadly just haven't gotten around to putting a decent system in. I just have my phone hooked up via bluetooth to a set of computer speakers lol. 90s/00s hip hop / R&B is also our usual vibe in this house!
Thank...
Whoa! If only he rented that out! Thanks for that thread!! These bills are most likely just going to go up from here... props to the girlfriend living on the east side. :rocker:
Thank you!
There's no cabin in the mountains with 5+ car garages for us to play in. :p Agreed owning two properties is not ideal. We would want to sell this one. If the bubble pops, we'll hopefully get to explore more options. The eastside is nice; it's getting harder to stay in Seattle...
Got to see the pics! Thanks to a suggestion from another GJ member JohnnieMo : Download "photobucket embed fix" extension for Chrome. I really liked the old garage and the french doors was a nice unique touch. Would be cool to see tile on your garages at the new place. Now that you had both...
WOW THANK YOU!!! It was so sad to to try to find inspiration and ideas with all the photobucket pictures gone. Thanks for this tip! Everything about your garage is awesome! Especially love the blue cabinets and storage organization. My challenge has always been placement; where...
Thanks! We're super envious whenever we travel outside the area and see large lots and huge garages for half the price of ours. But our jobs, families, and friends keeps us closer to the city. Market is crazy in the "Pugetropolis" (lol) area! Bidding wars and quick sales. Property tax is no...
Thanks! We think so too! Looking back, we're glad the epoxy guy was a no show. Gave us the opportunity to go with tile.
Makes sense.. couldn't find v.1.0 anymore. Hoping v2.0 will match our set if we ever decide to add on.
Thanks man! I've been happy with the airlines too. Seems solid so...
Thank you!
We probably discussed that option but had lame excuses - didn't want to patch holes or ran out/didnt want to buy more 2x4s. In hindsight it would've been a lot easier and better for alignment. Thanks for the great tip/reminder and not too late; we were considering more cabinets at...
Wife here.. posting on behalf of the husband since he's busy. Apparently photobucket photos were broken so I fixed it. We finally added in the air compressor this year! I'm pretty proud of what he did. I snapped a quick pic while he was using it.
You can see the air lines on the wall...
Thank you sir
Thank you, it was my first car as well. Going on 11 years now.
Thank you, I'm not sure exactly what SHMBO means?
The grout has been good so far but yes I probably should have sealed it being that it's such a light color.
Sadly, the right hand side is no longer empty since...
