String trimmer fuel line gets caught in tank

That's what I'm thinking of doing. I just got a lead weight last night from someone and I have some wire that I'll use to wrap it around the fuel line mid-way. Trimmer is new. Fuel line is that Tygon stuff and looks new. That wire tip is a good one - I'll use that. Well, the store I got it...

String trimmer fuel line gets caught in tank

I purchased the trimmer new and from what I can tell the fuel filter does have a weight. The problem is when it gets caught in a nook the weight is of no benefit. I was hoping someone had experience adding a weight to the line to help pull the filter down.

String trimmer fuel line gets caught in tank

I've been using a string trimmer I purchased recently and I find when I try to edge with it it dies a few seconds after I rotate the shaft 90 degrees. I played around with the trimmer and it appears as though the fuel line doesn't always flop down into the gas when rotated. For some reason the...

    Comfortable Screwdrivers

The handles on Felo Ergonics are fantastic. They're soft, squishy and super grippy. I get LOTS of torque out of them. That being said, the tips are not very durable so I would not recommend them unless you don't mind replacing them frequently (they do have a lifetime warranty).

50' Flexzilla on 25' Harbor Freight hose reel .......

Not sure what this guy's complaining about. The Flexzilla hose won't kink and will remain flexible in cold temperatures. I own both a Goodyear and the Flexzilla and I don't see much difference in the way they behave. For either one, if you don't coil it properly or have it on a reel it won't...

    Better pressure washer hose

Up here in Canada we couldn't find any decent ones in big box stores. I did plenty of research online and they all turned out to be garbage. Goodyear hoses are great if you can find them. Otherwise make a stop at your local hydraulics store and have them make you a hose.

    Opinions on screwdrivers

I will say NOT Felo. While the grips are great (I have Ergonics), the tip durability is poor. They're one of the other German tools that I was suckered into buying and I'm not totally pleased with. The other is NWS pliers which have poor edge durability. I used two separate Felo Philips...

Hyped Up Tools That Disappointed You

Yes sir. I have what are called the ergocombi pliers I think. Next to my Knipex pliers wrench they're my favourite pliers in my toolbox.

Hyped Up Tools That Disappointed You

Felo screwdrivers - the Ergonics have fantastic grips and fit but the tips are far too soft for the price NWS pliers/cutters - the steel is too soft. If you're looking for good cutters or long last pliers look to Knipex. I do however LOVE LOVE LOVE the 90 degree pliers regardless.

Free M12 battery with Milwaukee Heated / Non-heated gear

Sooooo the rebate form says the promo is valid from Dec 1 - January 15, 2017, but the terms and conditions say the product must be purchased between April 1st and June 30th. Maybe they should update their terms and conditions...

"How much do you pay for your current solution?" Might want to specify a currency. 151 pennies isn't bad for an organizer.

    Best screwdrivers

I noticed a lot of Felo votes and I'd have to say I quite strongly disagree. I would say what truly makes a good screwdriver is tip durability, and for Felos it's just not there. The only two nice things about Felos are lifetime warranty and the grip.

    2 stroke carbs

Tygon, that's what the return line and vent line look like. The actual fuel pickup seems to be rubber, though that may just be to the tank and inside might be different.

    2 stroke carbs

The store was clearing them out so there's no hope of exchanging it.
