Like a lot of earlier posts, I just discovered this thread. I spent the better part of the last three nights reading it start to finish. You've got sick skills. What I admire the most is your sense of design. I'm looking forward to future posts.

I love the system. Nice touch painting the cleats. I'm planning one for my shop what were your cleat dimensions and spacing between the cleats? That is one thing i am still trying to decide on.

Really cool

My first post so I'm showing my old and my new workbench. The original is 30 years old made from construction lumber. The base on the new is 4" x 4" and 2"x4" steel tubing that I had powder coated. The top is 1 3/4" maple butcher block. It is sturdy and rock steady.
