Solder seal wire connectors - any good?

Notwithstanding the merit of the connectors, I find Solderstick's web page incredibly deceptive. You have to search around for the small print link which will let your out of the product page in order to get to checkout. Then, as I've found out, you have to opt out of products or they will be...

    Slippery Racedeck Ramps

I always have problems with my ramps slipping on the Racedeck floor when trying to drive my Subaru up them. The ramps have the rubber squares on the bottom but they get no grip on the tiles. I've tried large pieces of cardboard between the floor and ramp but that slips as well. I'm just...

    New 30x40x10 Workshop

Very nice job. You've got to be excited every time you walk out to it.

    New Floor

Lots of good questions, gentlemen. All this is from Racedeck purchased during their black Friday sale. It was delivered within a week. Using the Racedeck website you can design anything to your heart's content. They figure out the number of tiles of each color. I have a dozen or so left...

    New Floor

It took about 8 hours to complete this jigsaw puzzle. Somehow I ended up with a few extra tiles which will be fun to sort out.

    Racedeck installation

When looking at the mark on the floor for the inner line of the garage door, is it necessary to set back the first row of square tiles to allow for the sloped edge to just touch that line? Hope I'm explaining this so it's understandable.

Integrating a Max Jax on a Racedeck Floor

Jorgen, can I cut (successfully) the tiles on a table saw?

Integrating a Max Jax on a Racedeck Floor

I will soon be installing Racedeck on my 900 sq ft. garage. Wanting to add a Max Jax I figure I'll be removing tiles when I install the jack from time to time. Just curious if others have done this and how I should allow for a direct connection to the concrete.

    Racedeck

This is what 900 pounds of Racedeck looks like when it arrives. In a few weeks it'll be moved to the new garage and installed like an oversized jigsaw puzzle. Can't wait!

    ArmorPoxy vs. Racedeck

Joe, I'm having the same debate with myself. Building my house in Anacortes, WA that will be done in January. Doing epoxy in 30 to 40 degree weather is of concern. I got a bid from a professional who's offering good epoxy installation at $5 per foot. I've submitted a design to RD but haven't...

    H&C Crete-Seal

Has anyone had experience with H&C? It's sold through Sherwin Williams paint stores.

    Car Dolly Storage

Has anyone figured out a way to store these car jack/dollies? I end up just piling them in a corner and they always seem to be attempting escape.

    Harbor Freight... ordering online

I too bought those pump up dollies. Took four days driving back and forth to the store each day to get one with a 20% off coupon. Fortunately it's not a long trip.

    Machanics Pit

Are these still much in practice. I'm building a new house with 8 foot ceilings in the garage. Since lifts won't do much in that environment I thought I could go underground without a lot of effort. If so, what dimensions, how many steps to the bottom, etc...
