I will soon be installing Racedeck on my 900 sq ft. garage. Wanting to add a Max Jax I figure I'll be removing tiles when I install the jack from time to time. Just curious if others have done this and how I should allow for a direct connection to the concrete.

I have a Bend-Pak four post and just intend on trimming around the base plates when I do my floor. I used the kit from Bend-Pak to anchor mine down. It contains 16 5-1/2″ x 3/4″ wedge anchors with bolts and washers and three different size shims to level the columns.

Without a hi-lift door that Cobra is in real danger of being bonked if the opener gets accidentally tripped to open.
Or is that what the roll bars are for?:D

I hope you're not planning on installing the posts on top of the tiles ?

Of course on a 4 post, not on a 2. I had someone local that I viewed his car on his 2 post, and asked if he was nuts. We removed the lift, then cut the flooing tiles to shape that night !

Jorgen, can I cut (successfully) the tiles on a table saw?

You can for trimming in along wall but for intricate cutting around your post plates, I would recommend using a jigsaw. Tip - on table saw, I like to place the tile upside down so if there are any burrs, they are towards the bottom of the tile for a cleaner look.

Just a tip..order four contrasting tiles, check your car(s) typical balance position and install the tiles where the tires sit when balanced on the lift. This makes car positioning after very simple :). These four yellow tiles save me a lot of time.

Every vehicle is different but you can note the relative tire positions to your position tiles for repeat lifts.
